ratio of the total radiated power divided by the total power accepted by the antenna

Note 1 to entry: This is also equivalent to the ratio of the antenna radiation resistance ( R rad ) divided by the sum of the antenna radiation resistance and the antenna Ohmic resistance ( R Ω ), as described in the following formula: η l = P rad P in = R rad R rad + R Ω where P rad is the total radiated power; P in is the total power accepted by the antenna; R rad is the antenna radiation resistance; R Ω is the antenna Ohmic resistance.

Note 2 to entry: Antenna radiation efficiency ( η l ) is also called as Ohmic efficiency ( η Ω ).
